    Default steering wheel problem

    hi today i came home and didnt turn the car off because i was going to get somehing from the house and take of but when i got back to the car, there was a warning with a steering wheel sign !
    so i restarted the car and it went away but would there be a problem ?

    There might be, just keep an eye on it. I had this on mine but in 18months it's only happened twice

    was the car parked on a slope?? might have momentarily detected low PAS fluid ??

    yes it was..there was a bit of hill...
    dont think its because of the fluid but ill check tmorrow..

    same happened to me i was parked on a hill and when i started car the symbol came up and lost all PAS restarted it and all was fine, mines on MIN tho

    where is the steering wheel oil located ?
    i think i should check it, it started to happen often..

    Located behind front bumper on drivers side, you can just about get to it by loosening inner wheel arch cover and pulling it back a bit, filling is a bit awkward and may need a funnel and long tube down by the airbox to top it up. HTH
