    Default H I D lights

    Hi All.

I have a 58 plate sri 150 cdti and was wanting to put HID headlights on it and was looking for some help as to what ones to get and where and at what cost?

How hard are they to fit?

    Thanks

there are many companys on ebay that sell them ....the most popular seems to be HIDS-direct....they are extremely easy to fit and are a vast improvement ..

    I got mine from http://www.sinax.co.uk/hids4us/index...&product_id=69

They were plug and play. Remove bumper, mount ballasts under headlights, cut 20 or 22mm hole in back of the headlight bulb cover, connect up the wires, refit everything - job done.

the one thing wrong with the ones from HIDS-Direct .........is that the hole need to get the bulb through is actually bigger than the rubber grommit............so if you can de-pin then thats the better option...............just need a hole big enough for the cable...this will then stop some misting up issues that were experienced when ppl first fitted them .

we got the 6000K............not to blue and not to white

I think 99% of HID kits are like that. I forgot to mention that I had to remove the plugs to get the wires through the 20 or 22mm hole in the headlight bulb cover. Easy enough though, there's only a couple of clips to undo and the pins pull out the sockets, poke wires through the hole and fit the grommet, then reconnect the plug to the wires.
