    Default Washers not working

I have very little/no pressure coming from the rear washers, and a weak pressure from the drivers side front washers. Having looked on here, it has been suggested I clean the filter.

I followed the How 2 which is posted on here, and upon removing the rubber filter grommet thing, I discovered there was no filter within it!

Next, I dismantled the pump, and blew through the 'white' end cap, and found that there was air freely going through one side, but not the other. Research has told me this end cap contains a diaphragm.

Any ideas what to do next? Would the diaphragm be causing my problems, or is there something else I need to try?

(Oh yeah, its a 53 plate 2.2 Elite - non direct)

    Cheers

The rubber grommet is the filter.

Likewise, when I stripped mine down, I found you can only blow through one hole.

Have you tried putting the end of the pump into a jug / cup of water and then getting someone to operate the screen washer for you?

OK, will try that one tomorrow.

Oh, when I said about the grommet, that is all I found, just a small rubber grommet fitted in the top of the washer bottle. Seemed more like a rubber gasket tbh
