i had a look at this site, costs ya about 70p - £1.50 to place a bid. bids increase by a penny a time only. at 70 p a bid, the bidding only needs to get to £1.00p and they've made £70 . great if you can jump in and get the last bid but they must be making thousands

I managed to talk myslef into buying some credits on swoopo (same idea as madbid) but after I spent £40 and won nothing I realised it wasnt worth it, and that it wasnt an auction site they are gambling sites. Little did i know you cant get a refund on credits you dont use, so was stuck with about £70 of credits. So after a few months sulking I took a notion of wasting all my credits on an item so I could close the account, but ended up lucky in that I won a ps3 and only had 3 credits left, so i was fortunate that I got out of it with something to show for it. As soon as the playstation arrived I closed the account
