After switching to CK last year I was waiting to see what they were going to quote for my first renewal. Given some other people's threads about their renewals (with different companies) I was wondering if it was going to be hiked up this year.

Last year was £309 and this year it came through at £345, which wasn't too bad I thought - and certainly not the usual massive hike I'd experienced with the likes of Direct Line and subsequent battle to then get it back down to something resembling sensible. Still decided to give CK a ring to see if they could tweak it at all. They managed to get it to £330 so only another £21 over last year which I thought was perfectly acceptable.

As per last year, every single mod declared (BSR Stage 3, Irmscher suspension, VXR brakes, body stuff etc. etc.) so very happy with that.

its a hell of a lot less than they have quoted me for mine mate.. they want £424 for my car, and that was before the remap....

You live in a dodgy area? You know what I mean - higher risk like Portsmouth, Southampton for instance.
