    Default Audi wheels...

After trashing one of my 20's..then finding I couldn't get another had to go down the new set route.... after a bit of machining and bodging

I reckon they look better than my 20's did.

Had to get the centre bores machined out to 73mmto fit my custom spacers/spigot adapters but you can just machine them to 65mm for a straight fit.. and have to use wobbly bolts as pcd is different.

One problem i had with my lambo wheels is that when the centre bore was machined out a lip had to be left for the centre cap to click into. It was only after a few thousand miles on the wheels when 4 wheel bolts snapped off one wheel whilst driving leaving the wheel wobbling horribly. It took me a while to figure out that the rear hub flange was 1mm longer than the centre bore had been taken out to. So when the wheels were bolted on they seemed fine but there was 1mm of a gap between the hub face and the wheel face caused by the centre of the hub fouling on the lip left for the centre cap. A quick buff down of the hub flange sorted it though, but something well worth double checking for with vag wheels

Love them wheels, prefer them to my snowies... What sized spacers are you running, front and back?

Yeah I've got to make minor adjustment to the front spigots to make sure the wheels are pulling up to the hub face (made **** up when quoting machining specs..should have added an extra mm or 2)..so will be grabbing grinder and marking blue later this week (car not on road yet so no rush)..the backs are fine as running custom spacers with shorter spigots.

not running any spacers on front now(these clear my brakes nicely) and running 10mm custom hubcentric spacers on rear. Did have some 20mm on rear but not needed now..keep eye out in for sale section lol
