Default cdti exhaust mods other than dual exit?

    Hi guys,

After hearing Georges cdti the other day with his dual exit system, the wastegate noise & turbo burble is awesome! I want a bit of the action!

However, i dont want dual exit! Two reasons, one, a mapped diesel kicks out a fair bit of smoke, and a dual exit doubles this (seen Georges) Also, im of the opinion, Dual exit is for 'V' engines imo....

So first thought is... can i maintain my exsiting back box and do the mid section? Or could anyone recommend a good cat back stainless system on single outlet please?

    Cheers

    Mike

One thing to consider is a twin exit system but do the Freelander tails false outlets with the ends pointing at the road as it does dissipate smoke really well?

if you want performance with out the looks etc then powerflow or similar companies will do a custom made stainless system in the same shape as your orginal with a choice of tail pipes or standard look

personally once my exhaust dies or needs replacing i am going for a straight through 3inch bore from turbo back with no boxes and de cat and de dpf so basicaly a 3 inch pipe from my turbo all the way back but going to keep my hidden exit as i have a estate that way i get all the extra performance and none of the boy racer looks and it will sound awesome with the turbo whislte

As already said, go for a custom exhaust with a single exit - but you are right, the CDTi's sound awesome with a freeflow exhaust
