    Default High pressure fuel pump 2.2 direct

    hello everyone i changed my hp pump a few months ago due to the common faults with them packing up anyway i have noticed a few people selling them on ebay even stating there not working and people are still bidding on them one of them is at £50 so can they be fixed or am i missing something ??

    yeah how can they I have 2 dismantled one of them and cant see anything wrong what so ever

    there loads a threads on here about it ..a small seal fails in the pump ....also i belive vx are getting the return's recon'd

    i bet workshop foremans are buying them, fixing them and selling them on to the dealership...lol

    I'm sure there was a post over on vauxhallownersnetwork that showed how to strip and replace the seal. I don't bother looking at vauxhallownersnetwork any more though as I don't like the new layout since they upgraded to the newer version of vbulletin.
