    Default 4th dmf fitted

    Had my forth duel mass and clutch fitted today . I think it's
    time I took the map off or sell my car lol

    could just be the extra torque, but it does make you wonder if another faulty part is causing the dmf to wear quickly :/

    My wife drives the car the most with our son I drive
    on the weekends . Frf have been doing the work under
    warranty

    Take the map off. High torque kills DMF's.

    torque isn't that high on this car though (290 lb.ft approx. from the signature)
    loads of CDTI drivers have been running a lot more than that without going through dmfs like toilet paper.

    a frind of mine had this prob then his gearbox went vauxhall eventually diagnosed a bentmain drive whatever its called his car had 60,500 on then b*****ds

    If its eating them that quick I'd be looking for a solid flywheel conversion and an uprated clutch but if you're getting them for free under warranty I suppose it doesn't really matter. 4 flywheels on a 3 year old car is ridiculous tho are you sure they're fitting genuine parts not cheap mickey mouse ones??
