Default DIY Zinc Plating Kit !!!

    Guys,

Got my new 345mm/292mm original VX discs. Dont want them to go rusty, wanted to zinc plate before fitting. I know the last time I had some done, they cost a small fortune to do, but looked good for ages, so now gonna try this DIY kit. £55 sounds good.

I think you can also plate black, like the EBC Diamond, gonna chat to the guys on Monday to see if this is also possible to do DIY.

    Any thoughts ?

    Regards

Thats exactly what I mean, the outside edge, the insides of the vents, & around the hub area!

doh. i wouldnt have thought too much. obviously getting someone to do 2 or 4 discs will cost more per disc than getting loads done. i could possibly get a quote during the week from a place in nottm. would the zinc plating affect braking until its worn down at all? and what about 'bzp' calipers?. i believe some places offer 'colour plating'.

I had a set done for my big brake kit on my Audi a few years ago, did not effect the braking performance whatsoever, but, I do drive like a grandad !!
