    Default satnav speed alerts

Do the tomtoms give road speed alerts along with the safety camera alerts. Looking to buy and don't know what to get. Want to spend £130 max.

as above you can set the SPEED WARNING to go off if you go above the speed limit ...but i find that mines going off for a 50 limit on a road thats been a 70 limit for arounf a year ...even with the map updates and the report a problem option

Look on ebay at the binatone a350 sat nav, thats what I bought for the thing that gave birth to my daughter, dirt cheap and as good if not better than a tom tom, I only paid 40 quid for mine brand new. Oh yeah and does the speed camera alerts and mobile camera van locations (the vans aren't always there but it knows thats where they hang out).

TomTom s h i t s all over Navman and Garmin and any other Satnav. Ive had a few and none can compete with good old TomTom.
As for the speed limit warning, You will end up turning it off after 10 minutes. It will drive you nuts.
