Default The gay one is back...

Well after an interesting week I finally have my gay Corsa home after it was stolen, cost me £221 in fees, but here it is.

Really needs a clean though as its covered in finger print dust.

Steering column damage, no sign of the ignition lock at all.

    Mullered ignition switch.

This is whats left of the igntion lock.

And this was how they got in, screwdriver to the top of the door and pulled out the frame.

Why did you have to pay fees? Was that a charge from the Police?

Cos I'm not claiming on my insurance I've got to pay all the recovery fees, but at least I don't have a claim against my name.

Getting there with the car, the good news is I've just found a replacement in the correct colour for £25, and it looks rust free compared to my old one so thats all good

Gave the thing a quick clean too.

Think I'm gonna step up security and also make it a little bit nicer to look at as its gonna have to stay after paying out to get it back now

I wanted to wire the door handles on my old Corsair to a 24v battery triggered by the car alarm, but Clapham police said it could kill anyone trying to steal it. I didn't have a problem with that, but they did

Haha I'd be tempted too aswell but sadly the police won't allow it, I think I need a big spec sheet in my back window with the cars performance figures to put them off

lol @ the spec sheet - but then they'd have to be able to read

Maybe invest in a stoplock or similar?
