    Talking Calipers finally painted!

After getting some information yesterday from some of you guys, I decided to take Don (bigmac) up on his offer to help me paint my calipers and non-contact part of the discs. When I say "help me paint my calipers", I actually meant that I stood back for most of it and watched Don do the work. We started to raise the car with the jack from the car but soon realised that we needed a bigger jack when the other one gave way (luckily all four wheels still attached ). I will be putting white 'Vauxhall' decals on the calipers soon.

I would just like to thank Don for his effort in helping me today when really he should have been washing his dirty car and for the bacon bap .
I think I would still be on the first wheel, still trying to take it off lol.
    A big Don!

    Good job there George.

Just out of interest, why didnt you go for a different colour? Maybe Arden Blue on your car colour? Think it would have stuck out like a sore thumb !

    Bye bye Vec B

I personally didn't think any other colour would have gone with Panacotta so I went with Black/Panacotta. So, here's an update as to why I chose black for the calipers

Does it make sense now? lol
At some point, I will want bigger discs, but that also means new calipers. Might experiment with those calipers and spray them panacotta and put something on the non-contact parts of the discs so they don't rust and don't need painting.
