Default Anyone got any feed back on uniroyal rainsport tyres?

As above really just fitted some 215/55/ZR16 W Uniroyal RainSport 2's on the front of my veccy, I only paid 55 quid each for them as I fitted them myself, just wondered if anyone else has had these tyres before and how good/bad they are in terms of longevity, grip etc.
    Cheers

From what I have learnt whilst looking for some new tyres they are very good and seem popular on here.

Well happy with my Rainsport2 225/45/17's. Can highly recommend. Good grip both in the wet and dry.

I recently put the fronts on the rear. They'd done something like 9,000 miles and still had 5mm of tread left on them. Previous to that I had Goodyear GSD3's on the front that were worn down to less than 2mm in only 11,000 miles.

What Big Dave has said really. Stick like the proverbial, wet or dry, quiet and comfrtable ride.

If all goes well, should get at least 18k miles from the fronts on my GSi auto before they hit 3mm.

All in all, a great tyre and would buy again.

I'm well impressed with them so far, it was drizzly and the roads were greasy yesterday and they gripped better than the bridgestones did in the dry so happy dave so far.

Had them on my 1.8 astra coupe, lasted 11k on the front but I am hard on tyres. Very grippy and quiet
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I have them on my 19" snowflakes and i'm well impressed with them. They grip well in all weathers, especially rain.... funny that

They look good as well I have done 10k on them and the rears hardly look worn at all and the fronts are about 4-5 mm at the moment.

Not cheap for the 19's, about £150 each but if it's only every 2 years I can stomach that.

    Thumbs up from me

    Jon
