    Default Air box mod help needed asap

    Hi. I want to do the airbox mod but after reading a bit im confused.Do i remove the trumpet out of the top and bottom of box or just bottom. Plus will a k n pannel filter give it a nice grunt too or is that just a cone filter. Cheers guys

    Just the lower bit mate, the upper trumpet is needed to get the air flowing nicely into the manifold.

    I've got a K+N panel, no change in engine note.

    Take the lid off the air box, remove the filter, remove the lower "trumpet", put a new filter in, close lid. Done
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    If you take the top of the air box take filter out on the bottom of air box there is a half tunnel type thing take that out put filter back then top of box job done..

    wow..is that all is involved,what improvement does this give and should i replace fillter for k&n type aswell

    ive got standard filter. but it does help car flat spots etc.. makes it feel abit perkyer
