i have irmscher sill plates on my vec, ive now bought another and would like to ake them off but im sure this is not as easy as it sounds, has anyone done this before or any tips??

any help and ideas appreciated!

just double sided stick like ****e tape, trouble is they are ali and very close to the body work!

This would be my suggestion, boil the kettle and pour the water around the edges, and carefully and patiently prise it a bit at a time, the hot water softens the glue, just need to take your time, good luck.
