well after playing with the idea of a bigger Turbo i realised that the old girl just wasnt upto the job as she was old and tired so i beated a hasty retreat and reinstalled the old turbo and fitted a new recirculating Dump valve to the old turbo - the end result was that it all ran ok - having ticked over 100k i decided that i would also be prudent to consider a replacement as when i ordered the replacement pipes for the old turbo ....they took 10 days to arrive...then a volt was missing
i decided that i would consider another z20net engine and looked at a 57 plate SRi the ironic thing was i already has the uprated Turbo from Mitsubushi fitted but was missing all of my creature comforts....
so i started looking for a newer 2.0t signum ... then i remembered that Howard (porkballs) had already realised that there as rare as rocking horse manure so started looking at other options....
so monday i collected my new car from Marshall's @ Peterborough to bring back to my works so this gave me a 70 mile road test ..... and i was hooked - signed the deal Tuesday......having started work @6am i finished at 5.00pm and proceeded to remove the alloys refit my 16's having swapped the tyres over from the green meanies to my original alloys... the bilsteins the eibachs the grille the induction kit and turbo pipes and refitted everything back to standard ... the "partially finished car was parked up at 9.30pm last night - today i removed the parrott and the irmy mirror covers ... i collected the car at 5.30 pm and then took it for a spin ....
