    Default Air Intake

Hi. I'm sure this has been posted millions of time but i have a 2.2i Direct SRi. I was wondering what the best air intake to get is. I'm not bothered about the sound, its purely the power i'm interested in. I've been looking at a few options just wondering which is the best.

    1. K'n'N Cone
    2. K'n'N Panel with Airbox Mod
    3. Pipercross Cone
    4. Pipercross Viper Induction

    Cheers

Pound for power mate, Stock paper filter or K&N panel filter in derestricted air box. You will lose power with any open cone.

The problem with the petrol 2.2 is the TB is right at the front of the engine, so to fit a sealed kit to have to put tight bends in the induction, each bend robs power. I've tried every possible way, even to the extent of extending the MAF loom and moving the induction to over to the battery box. In the end I've now just got the derestricted stock air box.

Yes to both. Pop the top off the air box and just remove little plastic half trumpet in the bottom of the airbox.
