    Default Jumpy at 2000 revs

    Hello people,

    I have a 52 plate 1.8 Vectra (Petrol).

Recently I have noticed that when in first or second gear and at around 2000 revs the car becomes 'jumpy' and seems to hold back. When in higher gears I don't seem to notice the problem.

Am going to try and do the brake/accelerator fault code thing tonight but thought I'd ask here for some opinions on what the problem could be.

    Thanks in advance.

Well I did the fault finding and got the code for Air Intake Sensor. Could this be the reason why I'm experiencing the 'jumping' at about 2000 revs?

Probably a MAF sensor on its way out then if thats the case, they can cause loads of problems for such a small part, use a genuine or oem part tho as the aftermarket ones dont tend to last as long
