Default Clicking from glovebox effects electrics

My 2005 1.9cdti has a load clicking from behind the glovebox and when it does this it makes the radio lose reception the dash lights flash it brings up the power steering light and i lose the power steering and my headlights will flash so i cant use the car at night at the moment in case this happens.

The worse thing is that it is not constant it wont allways do it, sometimes it may do it for 5 minutes then stop other times 20 minutes but it does do it every day every time i try to take it to the dealer where there is a guy who will have a look for me it stops when i get there.

    Getting desperate for any help.

Look for the threads about "recirc" sevo. It might be that which is making the clicking noise. Does it make the noise when you press the "recirc" button on/off?.
