    Default Unlocking vectra- clicking sound

    Hi Guys & Girls

    I am getting a clicking sound from the front bulhead area when unlocking the car. Any ideas what is causing this?

    There is a fusebox under the bonnet, could be one of the relays clicking as you unlock you car?? Open your bonnet lock the car and unlock it again whilst standing by the fusebox, see if that's where the clicking is coming from. Pretty sure it's nothing wrong

    Behind the glove box is the air recurculation flap when you unlock/lock the car in opens/closes to keep interior air tight, basically the motor is on its way out, needs replacement..

    it's the servo motor, or more accurately the toothed plastic gears within, that are failing - but the unit only come complete.

    mine has been clicking for over 2years now but still working fine,was given a xv price for it @about £50 odd

    Just wondering if any1 have stripped thiers apart to look whats going on inside it? wondering it it could be fixed ithout forking out for a new one?

    Yep, Ste did that exact thing - http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33018 - and posted subsequently a thread showing how he'd done it, but I can't seem to find it.
