Where to buy dmf/clutch kit from internet @ good price?

Hi all

Back again, have had a price for dmf/clutch kit parts on my signum 1.9cdti (150) from a garage for £530+VAT (£620), the guy at the garage said i may find them cheaper online!

So am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction? checked out ebay but am unsure about buying such a pricey part from ebay.

I have read on here that some people have had thier dmf changed for around £700 at independant garages and vx will be around £1200 but the cheapest quote i have had is over £830 i know £100 odd is not much but every little helps as tesco say lol.

also the garage told me that there's 1 of two possible gear box's in the car so anyone have any idea how i can check which one is in mine?

I know it might be suggested to ring vx and they will tell me but from part experiences vx dont know whats in their cars until they strip them apart

You can find them on ebay but you need to know which gearbox you have (F40 or M32) and make sure they're genuine LUK parts (same as vx genuine without a vx badge on the box or the price tag) and you shouldn't go far wrong.

Id like to thank everyone who has given advice of where to buy my dmf kit

Just want to let you all know iv bought the kit thanks to a very good member pointing out a listing on ebay saving me a good £140 from local motor facors

(Vaux Signum 1.9 CDTi Flywheel,Clutch,Cylinder 150BHP) £475 shipped

ebay member (midlandcs)

the clutch is by LUK
the flywheel is by SACHS

the car is booked in next week so should have a nice rattle free motor to cruise about in by this time next week

No worries mate, tbh i looked straight down at the gearbox and f40 was starring straight back at me lol.

my new flywheel is SACHS, as my cousin sorted it for me can anyone tell me is this a good make? think the clutch is too but not sure yet?
