Reversing CAMERA -Wiring to Light help Needed

Hi

I have just got a revesing camera ( wireless ) and the camera end has Live & Neutral , the instructions tell me to wire the live to the REVERSING LIGHT , but it looks like the LAMP Holder block in the tail lights are Live as it runs along aluminium strips , It also seems impossible to wire to the Black Connector block that feeds the lamp cluster.

Any ideas Guys

Just find which wire is the reverse live in the loom that feeds the plug and wire a terminal block into that mate, or however you want to connect it in. that's what I've done with mine. Any earth will do, even if it's nothing to do with the lights...

Ive found the reverse live , It is the black and white striped wire , Just need to find the Neutral ??.. i hope its black

For the neutral/negative you can use any part for the car. I used the bolt for the rear bumper, the whole car shell is the negative.

Many thanks ..I did wonder from pics on this forum that what i would class as an earthing point is neutral , so thanks for the clarifacation..

On Vauxhall's the earth wires are always solid brown.
