Default Boost pressure sensor screw thread

Just had a look at mine to work out why it was hesitant on boost and found that there is no thread on inlet manifold for the screw to fix the boost pressure sensor so its loose. Do you think I will be able to get it rethreaded easily or is it going to be a costly new manifold

Had the same thing on my one, On the screw that holds it in the threads start about 1/2 cm away from the end, if so you can bye any new bolt were the threads go all the way to the end sorry can't think what size but it's a comen size and inside the manifold end were it screws in there will be plenty of threads deeper in. If you now what I mean, The manifold is soft alum and rubbish threads.

I would helicoil it personally, helicoil kits cost around 20 quid and you can do it yourself and it will be a stronger thread, steel instead of ally

Helicoil is my other option and prefered but I will probably go down that route if the quick fix that will cost me pence doesn't work as i'm already strapped for cash this month, needed new glow plugs at 15 quid each it was ouch
