Default Fitting a clutch return spring

Thanks to the advice on here have bought a clutch return spring for £10. Vxl want £75 to fit it but on the basis the advice here was it only takes 10 mins thought I'd do it myself.

However, changing the wiper blades is tricky for me, so this is advanced mechanics as far as I'm concerned !

So can anyone walk me through how to do this please? Do you have to remove the cover under the steering column, if so is that just a few screws. Thanks

Thought I'd just give it a go. Undid trim under steering column, have loosened headlight switch but can't figure out how to remove blue connector on back of headlight switch so I can move all trim out of way to get to clutch pedal.

Can anyone advise, didn't want to pull too hard in case broke. Thx

Don't suppose you've got the part number for the spring have you? The stealers here didn't seem to know what I'm on about when I told them people on here had done the mod...

    Disregard that, I've found it...

For everyone's info, it's 93183937, about £7 from vx apparently.

Paid £10.22, took a while to fit, easier removing lower dash panel, job done plus cruise now works as a bonus.
