    Default Vectra 3.2 v6 head gasket

    Hello guys,

    I got big problem all the people i asked to do head gasket on my vectra now do not really wanna do it, but i found mechanic which would do it but need some more information about Z32SE engine and hole procedure when changing head gasket, tourqe, etc.
    Do anybody have step by step list like the mechanics in vx garage???
    I would appriciate any help in this matter.

    Mate are you sure one of the head gaskets is gone? Sometimes there is a bit of mayo on the 3.2's oil filler cap, because the filler neck thing is too long which does not mean the head gasket(s) is faulty...
    Get it sorted mate Cracking engine

    A bit, ****** loads! Same on my old 3.0v6 Oemga too.

    The expansion tank is all brown i lost oil completly and i got the mayo around oil filler.

    Ah **** mate! Doesn't look good then I would ask my friend to check for the torque etc. but he's in Croatia for vacation

    Maybe i would finish to do it my self somehow in the end.
    Is there guide for it in Autodata?

    Try phoning around your 3 nearest vx dealers and see what they quote you, when they give you a price try and get a discount and see what price they offer.

    Oil in water is oil cooler not head gasket. Mayo on the filler could be a red herring.

    Common to assume its the head, if i were you i would get the plenum and lower divider off and see if its the cooler first

    The V6 is a very strong engine and it is increadibly rare for the head gasket to go.

    Have they done the 'sniffer' test to confirm its the head?

    Hang on there dont rush into removing heads!!!!
    Oil coolers split and pump all oil into coolant. Id say that is your prob and not head gaskets..
