    Default illuminated sun visors

    went to fit them today, i cant find any wires anywere ive taken out the blank for the sunglasses holder removed the alarm sensor , however there was a connection behind here ( i presume that would be for the rear dip mirror ?)

    any advice would be welcome

    I havn't got a connector either,mines a club,so minimal extra loom i expect.

    I've a 1.8 Club on 53 plate, fitted illuminated visors couple of weeks ago, removed grab handle above door, removed Visor then dropped headlining, wiring was taped down to headlining, did same to opposite side , plug & play luckily in my case wiring was there, also fitted rear interior light months ago...

    ck out Ollies how2 on this ..you may well have the loom but arnt reaching far enough in to find it .

    Thats a good how 2,that is what i did,before i saw the how2,when i went to wire up my illuminated sunvisors,but i still couldn't find any extra plugs,mine is a 05 club

    Hi mate, mine was the same. Now, there is a constant live to the courtesy light which i wired off and it works fine. If you'd like a photo of how i done it i can always pop it off and take on. just let me know

    To be fair, i don't think they're that bright but enough for seeing yourself though. Who knows, LED upgrade???.
    Here's the pic of the mod i did to power mine. It's the two white wires soldered onto the PCB. I then soldered onto the end of that cable, the 2 cables i ran to the sun visors.
