Would anyone buy a used clutch?

I feel a new poll coming on. When did you change your clutch? I bet most people had to change the DMF before the clutch so we'll never know how long they last. ;-)

I would but not one that has done your mileage.
You can see the wear on a clutch plate when it has been removed so it it is possible to buy one second hand. The same goes for a DMF.

i replaced my clutch and flywheel only done 45000 tried to sell my old clutch as it seemed fine + slave cyclinder was looking £40 no takers, so it will be hard to shift.

Car's at the garage today anyway. Haven't asked for any parts back. Just phoned me to say job will be £1065, coz they didn't realise the clutch had a concentric slave something or other (a mechanic I am not!) so had to fork out another hundred and something quid for that part.
