any clutch experts on ere that can help me?

Ive got a 52 plate vectra saloon, 1.8 ls and im having trouble with the clutch, im new to the vectra c and dont know much about them part from theyre the most comfy car ive ever drove. cheers craig

Whats the problem with the clutch? they do suffer from judder on take-off but they released a revised/modified clutch assembly to cure this

thanx for replying mate, im having problems with the clutch pedal. It will select gear as it should but sometimes it only comes back up halfway. Ive checked the fluid level and its ok also checked for fluid leaks and there was none to be found, any ideas? Its a 1.8 52 plate saloon, cheers craig

ok will check it mate, will i be able to get one from the main vx dealer and how much roughly would it be?

You might get more responses if you asked in the appropriate area of the forum (Engine & Drivetrain) where more visiting traffic will probably be looking. This one is really just a say hello area.

Hopefully a mod will move it over for you.

as above could be the clutch return spring as these are known to go weak
or it could be the clutch slave or master cylinder starting to go as well

Just been down to dealer to buy a spring, cost £10. Will fit tonight. Some good instructions on here as to how to fit.

ok thanx, drove the car today and the pedal behaved as normal pedals do
