    Default Signum parts prices?

how hard/bad would a Signum need to be smacked up the bum to warrant a cat c?

Are bumpers etc very very expensive hence beyond economic repair, or would there be some structural damage too? I know all sorts of cars get Cat C/D'd for massively varying damage.

Category C or D is an equation that also takes into account the pre-accident value of the car. So a 2008 Signum can sustain a lot more damage and still not be declared a write off (C or D) than a 2003 high mileage example.

Vehicle : Vectra and a Signum

Trim : top of the line in both

    Engine : Z18XE,Z19DTH,Z20NET

    Year : 2006

    Default

it would not take much for it be a C.. the owner can even ask the assessor/garage to give it that so they get payed out in full etc..

There are plenty of parts available for these so repairing them is not issue once its been on a jig? Bumpers are under £100 and the bar behind is only £40ish, rear doors can be found for £100ish.. you will see Signum for breaking on the bay..
My old Signum, the animal; she now rests in pieces in several other members cars.. https://www.vectra-c.com/forum/garag...vehicle&id=200
The wifes vec show car, started as a standard daily driver and ended up like this. https://www.vectra-c.com/forum/garag...vehicle&id=709

It is a 53 plate with mildy high miles (although imho the miles are fine... but I dont believe in 10K per year as an average lol)

Will give it a good going over then, but its hugely likely that it could just have been a love tap and the assesor was a git lol
