    Default tax credits can i ??

    morning all i need some help please as some of you know from past threads i have splitt from my lass.... im 25 and work stupid houres my rotor is 7 12 hr shifts then i get 3 days off then 7 12hrs then 4days off then back the the 7days then 3 off i got my end of year form and i had £21000 dont know where its all gone lol ... and i have a little girl aged one and a half im paying my ex £30 a week through a standing order not the csa i have my little girl when im off ect but shes registerd as living with my ex.... would i be entitled to tax credits .... i have often been scared to look into this

    I would contact them direct and ask on the helpline telephone number but I think,, that only one parent can claim T/C at any time.

    Sorry cannot offer a more definative answer.

    Tax credits only apply to the parent the child lives with,my daughter separated then divorced from her "other half.If the CSA were involved I would imagine you would have to pay a lot more so be carefull on that one.

    i would agree silverhairedracer watch you dont get screwed over by the csa i was paying £97 per week..

    Its all means tested... Your not classed as a low earner so you'll get nothing i'm afraid...
