    Default Flip Key

Many of you may be aware that I have been waiting almost 4 months for my flip key to arrive and that the dealer had decided that as a goodwill gesture, they would cover the total cost of the key and programming due to it taking a ridiculously long time to arrive.

Well I got a call from my dealer today to tell me my key had arrived, and got a rather unexpected surprise.................................I got two! for free!

The service manager who had been chasing it up for me (even though she has nothing to do with the parts dept) said that vx must have made a mistake with not sending the first order and ordered a new one to replace, only they sent them both and as they now had two keys cut for my car, I may as well have them both free!

Big time respect to the dealer for pushing vx for the deal and to vx for agreeing to it. If anyone needs a good dealer in Nottingham then Reg Vardy on Lenton Lane is the one, cannot recommend or praise them enough, totally restored my faith in vx's aftercare.

Totally agree there Mickey and they look sooooo much better too, especially when you put the old next to the new.

What a result! Not very often things like that happen. Obviously a good dealer, with the customers interest first. Made the wait worth while no doubt.

    Your not wrong!

Thing is I didn't even complain once, just asked about it every now and again whenever I phoned them for something. Probably why I got them for nowt, a reward for not giving them grief!

Nice one Bazil. it is good to see some one come out on top for a change, and a pat on the back to the dealer too.

Have to be happy with the end result mate.

I had my Veccy serviced today & asked about the flip key (quoting all the stuff that has gone on here) & they proceed to tell me it can't be done due to the key itself being different. Even after I went through it with them V E R Y S L O W L Y. Going to go to another dealer & will show them on their computer, ofcourse using this site as my reference.
