Default damn car, latest nonsense is a p1112 code...

about every 6 months the damn car has to cause me an expensive headache, so here goes with the latest one.
twice in the last week, when stuck in traffic queues the car with spanner symbol has come on. first time it cut out on the A55 and wouldn't restart immediately, but after cooling down was ok. spanner light came on again today, but reset on restart. my friend has an onboard computer reader thingy from halfords. it read p1112, in the booklet it said this is the intake air temperature sensor of something?
what is it? where is it? can i change it myself? or do...er...what with it? car is an 05 2.2 sri petrol/direct.

I remember a lad in oldham said that to his mate because he was annoyed with his car, when he woke up in the morning - the car was gone.

his mate had taken it up to the moors and burnt it.......!!!

he was only joking about wanting it gone........hahaha

    got the guy's number?
    only kidding.
i knew a guy years ago who was fed up with his motorbike, he left it parked outside his council flat for a week with the keys in, but nobody took it. so he sunk a few lagers, pushed it for about 3 miles, across a couple of fields and into a farmer's pit. next day, recieved a knock on the door. the smiling cop said 'ah, mr ******, good news, we've found your stolen bike, some kids must have nicked it and pushed it into a farm pit, it's at the police station, come and collect it when you like'....
