    Default Irmscher suspension kit

Irmscher Suspension Kit - Vectra C (Sport)
Irmscher performance spring and damper kit for Vectra C saloon and hatchback models originally fitted with sports suspension.

Lowers the vehicle by up to 15mm front, 10mm rear, depending on vehicle fittings and equipment.

Just wondered if anybody had these fitted to car, and if so what are they like for handling, is it a much firmer ride.

    Thanks

I would have thought that it would have made the ride a little more firm.

The difference going from the Elite suspension to the Irmscher was huuuge!, and the handling was completely transformed.

I don't know of anyone on the site who has gone from SRi suspension to Irmscher - so I don't know what the comparison would be like. I'm sure it'll be an improvement over the SRi suspension, but not as big a difference as going from the Elite.

I have got the orginal irmy lowering kit on mine, the rear lowered by 12mm and the front dropped 6mm approx. There is a difference, a little more stiffer than before but not a massive diifference. I did expect the car to be lower but at the time i had it done while the car was in warranty so the option of other springs would of invalidated the warranty. The handling is good.

The part number on my receipt if you need it for reference is

ZI 3403003 and two dampers were fitted at the rear(bump stops).
