    Default 2.2dti boost sensor help

Hi, am i right in the picture that this is the boost sensor thats next to the oil filter. If so how do yo get that electrical clip off. Ive tried every thing.

Also what are the 2 small pipes attached to the unit?

That's not the boost sensor but the EGR. The boost sensor is where the big boost hose ends. It has a blue-ish sticker on it

Thx guys. Took it out, and to be honest it wasnt even crudded up. Gave it a clean anyway with carb cleaner.

Wonder why some cars are sooted more than others. Mine has done 93k and owned since 22k, so i new it had never been cleaned before.

Ive always used shell diesel extra and only in the last 10k started using millers diesel.

Thx for pointing me in the right direction.
