rolleyes Cigarette lighter torch, will it fit signum 05?

    Hi all,

Back again with a question for you guys! i saw my mates golf the other day and he had a cigarette lighter torch, its no bigger than a normal cigarette lighter!
    my question is:
Does anyone know if these will fit in our cigarette lighters? as the car i had before the signum was a mk4 Astra and i took the lighter out to put it in the signum and it wouldn't fit so wondering if anyone has bought one of these for their car?

Here's a linky to Amazon so you can have a look at what im talking about!

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/LED-Lenser-A...5238028&sr=8-1

Also sold on flebay but more pricey!

    Cheers guys n gals

Depends, I bought a USB attachment for my 04 Signum, plugged it into the front socket and blew my fuses, tried the rear socket and did the same, plugged it into the travel assistant and it was a much better fit and didnt blow the fuses

might be worth trying your mates out first before you buy

The sockets are different sizes depending if they are designed as a 12v outlet or fag lighter. Either way a torch should fit.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

My 03 ls had a cig lighter in the front and this torch fitted, but it doesn't fit in my '06 sri as it's got an accessory socket in the front, not a cig lighter, very annoying as it's a great little torch, now I can't use it in this car

Pretty sure there's been a previous discussion about this when someone saw one of these LED lenser torches on ebay and found out that they only fit the ciggy lighter sockets and not the accessory sockets.

    EDIT - found it - http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43596

Does anyone lnow if you can convert the 12v power outlet to a cigarette lighter? without buying an adaptor?

I think id give this a miss as it will cost too much to try and fit it,

as suggested il try my mates one first.

I keep a windup torch in the car anyway but thought this little torch was cool so wanted one lol
