    Default New phillips LED bulbs

Just what we have all been waiting for a large company to introduce LED bulbs for us that are reliable dont strobe and dont set of the bulb blown warning. The only stumbling block the price!!!

What an absolute rip off have a look here: http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_li...at1=53&cat2=81

am i missing something? it doesnt say they wont strobe with the vectra? as far as i know we vec owners have the only cars on the planet who have the strobing function on our sidelights!!?!

phillips have always been expensive for bulbs, even if they have a resistor built in they still strobe when fitted to the sidelights??

Ah right i take it your talking about wiring up some for the interior. I would love a set of these for my side lights but not at these prices.

They quote a lot how they are of a much higher quality than the nasty ones that are about the now and mention how reliable and work to original manufacturig specs. If i bought them and they strobed they would be getting sent back.

For all the adverts are saying they must have been tested on modern cars which self check bulbs or so we would hope.

I think that with the problem in the LED strobing that I will possibly go with these little beauties, same colour as normal but being Halogen and 10W far brighter, have seen them in a car and love the look so in the absence of LED's,,,,,
