2 days to go then we pick up our 2006 Vectra SRI (150bhp)

Hi, We have been patiently been waiting for the sale of our house with which we are using to purchase this car. It comes standard apart from the the integrated sat nav with which im not sure how good they actually are, especially coming with the 2005 disc. If its any good we may look out for the latest disc but wont hold my breath.

We have been looking at certain extras such as the tuning boxes which seem to get some mixed reactions but im not sure what makes one better or any more reliable than the other - can anyone personally recomend which one is good and which one to avoid?

Also is there any must have gadgets/accesories for the Vectra? I havent stumbled across any yet but would be great to start treating the car to some goodies. Already have the Vanillaroma Air freshener for it (sad git).

Anyway look forward to hearing back from other forum users.

Picked the car up yesterday and havent been able to stop driving it. It is absolutely fantastic. Opened her up a few times on the motorway and boy does she go. The only issue i seem to have is that if you cruise at 80mph then the s/wheel wobbles slightly. If you sit at 70 then it reduces it. Im not sure whether it could be something as simple as the wheels out of balance, can anyone give any other ideas?

Congrats on getting the vectra, out of interest is the boot floor of your car the same colour as the exterior ?

welcome along Danny,

as above no doubt there will be a balancing issue - you will have this at two speeds no doubt you wont notice it so much as slower speeds - but get your wheels balanced and im sure the wobble will go

I have no idea im just asking out of interest as mine isnt and im wondering if its normal or something wrong with my car, My car is black but the boot floor is silver.

Im a new vectra owner like yourself only had it a week :-) plenty of smiles to miles but mine is pulling left and the tracking has been done(according to the dealer) but the fault still remains.
