confused Is anyone elses Vec going rusty?

My car is going into a body shop at the end of august to have it's back arches repainted. The paint seems to be flaking off at the edges of the arch and it's the only Vec C i've seen like this.

Luckily it's only gonna cost a couple hundred as there isn't too much damage but am I the only one with this problem?

I had my bonnet done in August last year, it hadn't coped well with stone chips
I have seen stone chips, but this was horrendous

However the front arches, directly in line with the front tyres, are showing signs of wear
Vauxhall have initially claimed "consumerate with wear and tear"
However I have now passed it over to "The AA" for further investigation
The argument is that the paint on the metal is flaking off yet the paint directly below on the plastic sill, which is also in the direct line from the front tyres, is in perfect condition
Therefore the paint applied to the metal has failed
"The AA" have instructed me not to have the remedial work done until they have a further response from Vauxhall

This is the worst paint finish I have ever seen on any car I have owned

On completion I will be fitting "mud flaps", although personally I will be calling them "paint on the arches covers"

Clearly other manufacturers are aware that these new paints don't cope with this type of wear and tear
Look at other cars and you will see they now apply plastic liners around the entire wheel arch
    The Honda looks the best
Does anyone make such a part for the Vectra C?

Mine has bubbling on the drivers side rear arch and also on the rear door on the drivers side. Was passed for warranty last week and goes in Wednesday to get sorted.

I had a few rust spots from untreated stone chips on the drivers door and a load of stone chips to the bonnet...

I just went on the old Ebay....

£50.... A nearly new door, with the window, all the insides etc....

£100.... A like new bonnet with the grill etc, no stone chips....

Same colours, just had to put them on and take my old ones to the scrap yard. Simples!

Mines rust free in the usual places, but i see little rust spots in the paint in very few places (even on the rear)... I've never clayed it to be honest so i'm hoping its that. But in the usuall vaux places its perfect - for now...

I thought there was a 6 year anti corrosion warranty also are you all sure it is the the orginal paint work and the car has not had an accident or two. I have had two Vectra C's and two Vectra B's with no issues
