Spanner Lights on??

Hi.Came to start my vectra c 1.9 dti this PM and the spanner light came on.
Also no radio,no blower (even on 4 setting) and no rear screen heating,everything had been working fine when I used the car yesterday. Checked the faults with my code reader and it came up with PO650, (Malfunction of the indicator light control circuit).Does anyone out there know what this means? and does it have anything to do with the problems I am experiencing?

Might be something to do with the CIM.

Thanks for your reply but what does CIM mean?,and is it expensive?

Yes it's expensive, CIM - Column Interface Module. Check the ABS module plug, plenty of info on here about it.

Thanks to everyone for their input.I have just been out to the car to see if it was still u/s,(as you do when your grasping at straws),when,as I turned the ignition on,there was this awful "crackling/hissing"noise from behind the dashboard,in the general area of the display screen.
Started the engine,no spanner light !!,radio,blower everything is working again!!!!!.
Obviously the fault has rectified itself,but s**t,what's going on?.Can anyone shed any light on the problem as I really am confused and more than a little bit worried.
I would be grateful for anyones thoughts on this matter/problem.Felixx.

As an update,the "buzzing" noise still happens then stops when I turn the ignition on but everything is working o.k.(at the moment),however,there is no fault code showing.Is there any type of capacitor/relay around the display screen area behind the dash?.
I really am confused.
