    Default 2.8t v6 signum

hi,just signed up to the site having been a member of vvoc for 4 years but now breaking my 3.0l vectra b. i am looking at getting a 2.8t signum.are they reliable and
are there any common problems or issues with these cars, that i should be aware of.still undecided about wether to get the design with the manual box or the elite with the auto box,i will be looking at getting it remapped and other mods.which of the 2 will be best suited for more power

Its a very reliable engine - as its basically the same as the one in the VXR so 300bhp isn't out of reach with a remap.

The Design would be more suited but if you were to upgrade the suspension on the elite to make it a bit harder then go for that as the auto box is quicker than the manual

In my opinion it's also the perfect combination of engine-gearbox for any Vauxhall, be it a Vectra, Signum or Insignia

I've got a Vectra with the 2.8T auto, remapped to 300bhp.

Amazing car, effortlessly quick. Love it to bits. The only fly in the ointment is the fuel consumption, this thing does about 23 mpg average, and 27mpg on a cruise.

If you do buy one, make it your priority to get the software update on the gearbox done. Anyone with tech2 and SPS access should be able to sort this for you.

Nope, you'll need to ask for it, and like I say, only someone with the right kit can do it.

    All dealers can do it.
