Make sure the object is warm, not hot and apply light coats if you can warm the can over too very lukewarm I find helps it not bloom, and build it up. that way it can be cut and polished back.
dont over do it on first coat, just a few sprays then wait till its tacky and do it again
Put the can in warm water for a while before you use it. This will help.
spray the first coat let it dry and then wet coat it...(as in spray closer and dont let it dry propperly applying it so it's just before it runs) thats what i do and i get a dammmmn good deep glossy finish like this....
I do the same as Rich on the lacquer.. First coat to seal it, then 2nd coat almost to the point of running so it keeps a wet look Very fine line between looking wet and running though!
