thats the one to get Mickey, a few have them on here, including Robbieben and Richard3.2. It wont burn through your paint, so as long as you use the right cutting polish you cant go wrong mate.

Hmm...must not have had my detailing head on but I honestly don't remember seeing any swirls in your paint Micky, just lots of shine.

However, having seen the results of the Porter Cable, you wouldn't be disappointed.

Thing is John, all the others cause the paint to heat up and that can burn through very easily. The Porter Cable's head doesnt spin like all other rotarys, it acts on a cam with motion much like your hand but much faster and doesnt heat up that paint. There is the smart tool that Andy has, isnt as bad as a rotoray but still heats up the paint a bit, costs circa £100 i think.

I bought one of those cheap rac ones in my ignorace before it got on this site. they are ok for taking the polish of but do not seem to have the balls to put the polish on, the motor slows right down, I wish I had spent the money on some micro fibre cloths now I have tried it... I hope that is some help to you...
