Default Iceland (Ash) 0 UK (Snowfoam) 10

After trying to wait 'til the weekend before ridding the motor of the increasingly thickening layer of potentially (pompeii like) dangerous eruptive dust.... Horror....
.........woke this morning and it had rained , not a lot, but enough to create lots of varying size craters that looked like the flesh of the singing detective spattered all over my shiny thingy.

Actively acidic and corrosive ... Not Certain

    Horrible looking ........ Definitely.

After a great result 2 1/2 weeks ago with my "Snowfoam alone" I thought it was time for another go.

40 minutes of gentle effort, 2 coats of Valet Pro foam and 2 rinses, pat dry with jumbo microfibre waffle towel and finally a sparing wipe with Meg's Ultimate Quik Detailer and VOILA.........................

i believe the ash is full of sulfur and can permanently mark your paint if left on with no protective wax on the paintwork. A light rain is the worst, shows up the dust really bad.
