    Default Smokey startup!

Well boys, i started her up after uni today and i noticed a nice bit of smoke in my passenger mirror lasting for about 5 seconds or so, it looked bluish? the car kinda chugged as usual but still drives ok..
i gave her a good thrash yesterday to keep her on her toes but wonder if this was maybe an effect? didnt notice any this morning..

can any one tell me what the colours mean? as i have a warranty direct policy and if its the turbo or whatever i wanna get it fixed before my miles get to 130k even though im on 118k just now.

    what engine u got?

if its 150 cdti, i had this (although not blue smoke) and all that was up was a glow plug connector had come loose, pushed back on and voila, no smoke

    worth a try

Blue smoke is normally oil being burnt, black smoke is unburnt fuel. Blue is not normally good, could be turbo seals or valve stem seals if it's on startup.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
