    Default Vec rear Shock Absorbers

    Hi all
apologies if this has been covered previously, but I have a question.
A colleague has had one rear shock replaced under warranty on an 04 estate (mileage about 21k). I have always replaced them in pairs. Is this a new penny pinching initiative from VX or can you get away with it.

    cheers

    I hope not!!!

Manufacturers state that they should be replaced in axle pairs.. he should push them to change the other one as well...

Yep, go back and kick some behinds!!

I had a rear Irmscher shock develop a small leak earlier this year - got both sides replaced with no fuss. I raised the point (about whether Vx would do the pair) when it went in. They checked and said not a problem.
