    Default Sticking Exhaust Valves

    Hi All
I have recently been having problems with my 09 plate vectra 1.9 cdti 150. The problem being at around 70-80mph the car starts to judder and when i accelerate it seems sluggish and judders even more shaking the whole car. It recently happened at around 20 mph so today i booked it into Arnold clark where i bought it. They had a look and said that it didnt happen to them today, but they rang vauxhall who said it sounds like a sticking exhaust valve so to replace this and also change the cylinder head (all under warranty). Has anybody else had this? Does this sound right ? i am certainly no expert. Arnold Clark seem very good about it.
    Thanks in advance
    degsy

    Vehicle : Facelift Insignia/Corsa D

    Trim : LE/VXR

    Engine : 2.0 cdti/1.6 Turbo

    Year : 13/07

    Default

From 2007 the 150 cdti's were fitted with an uprated inlet manifold so i don't think thats the problem

Sounds more like a sticking exhaust gas recirculation valve (egr)

Very common fault on the cdti's hth
