    Default Bilstein B4

Right. I've decided the LS is getting lowered. Going to get some Bilstein B4's to go with springs.

What I want to know is do I need to be looking for Bilstein B4 that are specific to Vectra C? Look at this link - http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_t...kw=Bilstein+B4 It seems they are listed against the model of car etc.

A bit of advice would be appreciated - cheers!

Euro car parts sell them, you wont find cheaper if your picking them up. There is only one set of B4's for the whole Vectra C range mate, so as long as to get the Vectra C ones and the specific left and right fronts you wont have a problem. If your getting springs from LMF then you might as well get everything from them as they only charge £10 for delivery for the lot, doesn't matter if you but one item of a full set of shocks and springs.

    confused

Aren't the B4's the same spec as the standard shocks ?
I thought that B6's were the ones to use if you wanted to uprate/upgrade from the standard ones.

I've lowered my car on -40mm springs on standard shocks and the back still looks rather high, even sat next to other Vectra's :'(..... i think its my standard shocks, so these are on the agenda, car is a 2.2i LS aswell.

I looked at B4's but then decided on Koni Yellows. (With Eibach pro kit) Fully adjustable and will never go back.

Decided to go koni after I was told B4's were essentially factory shocks.

Shocks have no affect on ride height mate, only when there compressed and hit the bump stops.

Just really annoying that it doesn't look very low on the back lol. Front sits perfectly tbh.

Springs were stated as 1.8/2.0/2.2 and i have a 2.2 so i guess why it sits so nicely on the front lol. Rear makes me sad! :P
