    Default KYB Springs

Just out of curiosity has anyone fitted KYB springs on their Vectra? fitted them on two of the wife's Renault Clio's (fitted a set on the front last Thursday) and found them to be fine, but obviously this is a small car, so would be interested to know how anyone has found them on the Vectra, incidently, I know their gas shocks are quite good as I fitted a pair on my old Omega and what a difference it made to it, all for the better I might add!!

I have KYB springs fitted to the rear of my VEC 1.8, They are the same thickness wire from top to bottom ( none progressive) they give a slightly harsher ride over pot holes etc, but the car feels realy planted when giving it a bit in the twisties, also with a full car of passangers the car still feels well planted, I will fit KYB on the front when I need to.

I fitted KYB springs on the front of my Signum when both broke.

They are better than the original ones in my opinion. Maybe a little harder ride, but not a real worry.

Cheers guys, think I will most likely fit KYB's if mine do go , as said in my first post I have fitted them to the Wife's Clio's and seem good, in actual fact the ride feels the same as with the originals, incidently have a read of this from VODC , might look into this http://www.vodc.co.uk/showthread.php?t=13529
