are you thinking panel filter or cone?

I've never had a maf problem with a K&N panel filter... i don't think you will see any gains from a cone due to heat soak... apart from the induction growl

I have the K&N apollo on my 3.2 V6. All I can say is WOW.

Puts out a V8 growl on acceleration, I've had V8 commodore drivers tell me it sounds better than their V8's.

No heatsoak at all as its an enclosed filter, even ironed out some flat spots throughout the rev range.

(That is what you UK chaps call the GSi however)

ive only got a lowly 1.8, but have a k&n panel filter fitted, just a touch of induction roar & is smooth as silk now, with no problems at all.

    I'm looking for a cone filter for my 3.2 V6, what's the best: K&N Apollo or K&N 57i?

I wan good sounding and a little more power.

    Thanks.
